A foot of snow in a coastal town, iguanas dropping in Florida, and a home HVAC dying at 2 a.m. set off a week where nothing went as planned—and everything begged for straight talk. We kick off with winter chaos and slide into a Super Bowl that felt more like a defensive drill than a showdown, then dig into a halftime performance that split fans on authenticity, language, and the blurry line between art and messaging. When a stadium spectacle turns into a culture mirror, you see where people stand.

From there, we get to work. With two bad addresses and a common name, our search for a defendant called Jesus leads through Wake County job sites and into a hospital construction zone. A lucky break with an HVAC foreman points us to the right corridor. Security looped in, ladders everywhere, a name called into the ceiling tiles—and a quiet arrest. The surprise wasn’t resistance; it was the language gap. He says he never understood his court date. That’s where real life clashes with the system: missed notices, ICE detainers, and why bondsmen often refuse cases they can’t track once federal custody starts. It’s not politics; it’s risk, duty, and the simple math of showing up in court.

We round it out with a frank look at auto‑tune and live performance standards, how national stages can alienate or unite, why voter ID arguments keep circling the drain, and what market highs actually mean for everyday 401(k)s. Through it all, we keep the tone grounded: real work, real weather, and real consequences when rules aren’t clear. SPEAKER_03:

Very five people on both sides.

SPEAKER_00:

These are real stories. But the names have been changed.

SPEAKER_03:

What is happening there? Uh, everybody. Uh, this is Rob.

SPEAKER_02:

Having some technical difficulties over here.

SPEAKER_03:

Dude, I'm telling you, we like there was a gremlin going on in the stuff here. I don't know what it was.

SPEAKER_02:

Nobody's been in office for a whole week. And then, you know, just like, I don't know, we got poltergeist or something in here.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, I tell you what, it's been sorry guys, we kind of uh we missed you last uh last week. Uh uh, we had some uh gremlins, some technical issues we had to fix. You had a foot of snow here, didn't you? Oh, God bless, man. Oh my god, it sucked. So, all right. So I was gone. Chad here goes with his family down to Florida. Yeah, I gotta go feed that rat some cheese. Um and while I'm gone, I'm like, hey, Chad, if you need me, if you need anything while I'm gone, just give me a hop. Oh God, yeah. And he's had some issues with he got a brand new house and he had some issues with the the heat and air system.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I mean, so it was the breaker kept going off and like tripping. And two days before we left, I mean, we planned this trip months ago, so like we had to go and like called HVAC guy, you know, come out. He changes the breaker. All right, cool. You know, next night, two o'clock in the morning, I wake up, it's cold in the house, it's 55. And then I'm like, the breaker's tripped again. And now we're up to Thursday. He comes out again and like can't really figure it out. So he tightened some wires or something, is what I heard. I wasn't there. Um and anyway, uh the next day, Friday morning, we left at 6 30 in the morning. So the heat was still on, thank goodness. Right.

SPEAKER_03:

So we're like, yeah, okay, we're good. Yeah, y'all left Friday and the snow came when was it? Uh I don't know. I wasn't here. Over the weekend. Yeah, it was over the weekend sometime.

SPEAKER_02:

I mean, y'all got a foot of snow in Wilmington. Dude, the last time we got a foot of snow here was 1989. Almost like not like 35, 36 years ago.

SPEAKER_03:

So Chad, I called Chad. I'm like, hey Chad, what's going on down there? Is it cold? He just he goes, man, it's cold in Florida.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, man. It's like unheard of, man. It's like it was 20, it was in the low 20s in Orlando.

SPEAKER_03:

And he he calls me and goes, hey man, I need can you go to the house check on it? I'm like, yeah, no problem, because I live right around the corner. So I get into my truck and I put it in four-wheel drive. I'm going down. I mean, it's there's I mean, it just there's you can't even see the road. So we're gonna go.

SPEAKER_02:

So people are laughing. I mean, we just don't get a lot of snow here where we're at. It's very rare. And to get a foot, like I said, was 89 the last time we got a foot of snow. Yeah. So that's how rare it was.

SPEAKER_03:

So we go, so I go to his house. I get there, and I'm like, and Heather's riding with me. And I I said, I'm not even pulling in the driveway because I don't even know where his driveway is at.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

It was so, and and it's like the wind was blowing all the snow like in your driveway.

SPEAKER_02:

I could I could see my camera on the front of the house. I was looking for my phone, you know, and I was checking it out. Right. And um, I could see the snow drifts like we're like two foot by my truck.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, dude, it was horrible. So I go, I so I go to his house and uh I go check on things and and and when I come back, I'm like, dude, I got a FaceTime. You watch this shit. Yeah. So I'm walking through I'm walking through like knee deep snow in his driveway. I'm like, I'm like, look at this, dude. Like, you don't get this much.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, the kids were like around me. They were they were checking that out. Um, because like I hate it, you know, that the kids didn't get to play in it because you're only kids for so long, you know, and they don't get that many snows to play in, you know. Yeah, yeah. We just had coldness in Florida with iguanas falling out of trees and stuff, you know.

SPEAKER_03:

So my big dog, it's funny. I go let my big dog out in this motherfucker. He goes, he goes stomping through it, no problem. But the little one, she stops and goes, uh-uh. No, turns around, goes right back in the house.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, we checked on her dog too, and it's like, you know, you can like look in on a camera for daycare. But they were like, Yeah, we got mixed results on uh Reagan uh as far as her like being in the snow or not, you know, like not sure about it. Right, right. You know, she's still I mean, well, both our dogs are the same age, they're both only two years old. Yeah, yeah. And uh still like new to them as snow. Right. Anyway. Mine's a big doofus. But it was super cold here, and that was my fear of not just our breaker cutting off, but our water. Oh yeah, you know, freezing lines and stuff, and I'm not there. Or I mean, this happened. I still had five days left. I went for seven, seven or eight days.

SPEAKER_03:

But I was there, man. I got you. Don't worry.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, well, you can't spend the night there overnight and watch the water lines, you know. Like one of our neighbors, the water lines bus burst in our neighborhood, and uh that was my big fear. I'd I shut off the water to the house, but you still have the line coming in. Uh-huh. So there's that possibility at the at the uh where they connect, it could burst. So um anyway, um, I was I had my Tesla parked in the driveway in the in the garage, and I was pulling up the camera on it so it's next to where you enter in the drive in the in the so I was looking to see if there's any water on the floor from my cameras on my car. Yeah, yeah. You can I can see right where the the the door entrance is to all that.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, well, I'm glad I'm glad I want nothing. That was stressful.

SPEAKER_02:

I mean, really didn't get to relax, you know, because of that, because I stress over shit like that. I worry about everything when I leave a house for an extended period of time.

SPEAKER_03:

I can understand that. Yeah, I can understand that. I can understand that. So uh I hey Chad, did you know there was a Super Bowl last night?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I I caught it and I was really disappointed because I was hopeful for the quarterback of the Patriots. I don't care about either one of them. I don't watch a lot of football, but you know, being a the Patriots and the quarterback was from Carolina, you know, I was like, cool, I'll I'll pull for them, you know. He he he uh he was very he got sacked like seven times.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh yeah, he got he got clobbered, man. But it was kind of a it was a defensive game, of course.

SPEAKER_02:

It was a defensive, like but it was boring. Yeah, well, it was all field goals. They made five field goals, I think it was. Yeah. Nobody wants to see field goals. Yeah, well, I mean, you know, unless it's close, but you know, it it kind of sucks. So then what what happened at halftime, man? What'd you do for halftime?

SPEAKER_03:

Uh I switched over to see the all-american uh turning point halftime show. I did too. Uh, and I actually actually I liked it.

SPEAKER_02:

Apparently, about six million other people did too.

SPEAKER_03:

That's kind of cool. Uh uh Kid Rock, when he first came out, uh, you can tell he was just, you know, it was like there was I don't know if that was lip singing or what. I don't I don't understand.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I was kind of wondering that too, but I like the way they did it with the other guys rather than him coming out with the ball jab. Yeah, the whole nine. I'm glad that he did it that way with them first.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, I I was when he started singing, like when he closed the the show out with Till You Came, uh he started singing. I was like, Well no, that's not that's not your song. That's that's Cody Johnson's song.

SPEAKER_02:

I like that song actually.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, that's a very good song. Very good song. Cody Johnson is amazing. I saw him at concert, very patriotic, very like humble guy, love my daddy.

SPEAKER_02:

So let's talk about for a second, like, isn't the football football's basically very American? And I know people are gonna argue that Bad Bunny is um is from the state. He's not I'm he's not from the United States, which is 50 states. There's stars on there that have 50 stars. He's not one of the stars from where Puerto Rico's U.S. territory. It's a U.S. territory, exactly.

SPEAKER_03:

But hold on, hold on, huh. So I don't know who Bad Bunny is.

SPEAKER_02:

I didn't either, and neither do you liberals that that watched it and talked about how great he was. You don't know who he was either. You just know that he's on the left and you're gonna go to the left with him. That's all that's all that is.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, I I mean, I think I think I can speak for for most of Americans that believe like me and Cherry.

SPEAKER_02:

I like Ricky Martin, the dude, you know, he's Puerto Rican, and he was like, you know, he he had some hits and we knew who he was, you know. Like, didn't know who the hell bunny bad bunny was or whatever his name was.

SPEAKER_03:

I I I have I had no idea. And I don't think a majority of people did either. But every everybody, I keep seeing, I keep seeing people say online, well, uh hey, love conquers hate. Well, yeah, okay, yeah, we all we all love each other. We are supposed to love each other. But here's the problem. You're putting your feelings ahead of things, and this is pissing me off right now because it's tax time and we're having we we pay taxes. I pay taxes every year. I'm stressing over there right now working on taxes. So we're working our asses off to pay taxes for people to come in this country illegally to what? To house them, to feed them, and everything else, because they come from a bad uh a bad country and they come here not through the right way, but they come illegally. And I'm supposed to support them. Screw that. I'm sorry, dude. It's not a way, that's not the way it works. You go to another country, go go to another country, just walk in and say, hey, I'm here, give me some money. I guarantee it don't work like that. Guarantee. So the halftime show, uh I I hate I I don't even know what it sounded like.

SPEAKER_02:

I saw clips in social media, but I don't really know. But they got they evidently I gotta play this clip though. I ran across this clip, and um, you know, evidently you don't you don't have to be necessarily talented anymore to sing auto tune. Yeah, yeah. You ready? Literally, you just gotta look good and be able to dance, and we'll fill in the other parts for you.

SPEAKER_03:

Have you seen Lady Gaga? Evidently, she made an appearance of that. She's in a satanic thing.

SPEAKER_02:

She's in the satanic thing.

SPEAKER_03:

So ugly as hell. I don't even care. I don't care about you if you're satanic or what. That woman is ugly. That woman hit every branch on an ugly tree and slammed face down into the stump.

SPEAKER_02:

She's ugly. Anyway, this clip uh came across, I thought was hilarious because it's true. Um, I'm not saying every, you know, there are people that on both sides, whatever, that use it all have actual, yeah, that have uh real talent. Have you ever gone to a concert and like you heard them on the radio and they're like, okay, okay, that's cool, that's a cool song. And then you go to the actual concert and they sing, like actually sing, and you're like really let down by what how crappy it sounds compared to what you heard on the radio. I have I have. I mean, I I've I've done I've heard that. I'm like, I'm like, really, man, like I thought you had talent, you know.

SPEAKER_03:

But matter of fact, there's one not too long ago that came here to disappoint me, and I was very disappointed because I was a I'm a big incubus fan. Okay. They came here and they sucked.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah. It happens. I mean, it happens. I mean, you don't know until you actually hear them.

SPEAKER_03:

So this is a clip. This is supposedly bad bunny without the auto-tune. Right. So let's go.

SPEAKER_02:

And we're gonna hit it next. It could be true. Uh it it's funny. Can they see this? No. Um so they've removed music, the mono tune. It's literally his vocals.

SPEAKER_03:

Now, I don't know if that's it if that's true or not.

SPEAKER_02:

It came up in uh my social media feed, and uh then I searched it and it came up several different clips.

SPEAKER_03:

Everything's starting to play now.

SPEAKER_02:

Several different clips of the auto-tune issue with Red Bunny. So I'm not saying it is a hundred percent, but it's questionable. It's it's possible. And uh I didn't like it.

SPEAKER_03:

I I okay, so let's get it, let's get into this a little bit before we get into our story. I I just don't understand. Like, all right, there's millions and millions of Americans that are out there. I don't know how everybody, you know, majority of America feels. Like they see this shit on TV, right? Okay, bad bunny, he comes out, he looks like he's got some fake uh uh I I well let's back up.

SPEAKER_02:

Hold on, hold on. Um, what was it when he first found out that he was gonna be on the Super Bowl? What'd he say? He said that everybody's gonna learn Spanish to watch his show. Oh yeah. So so in order for us to watch your show, we had to learn Spanish. Now he he backed that up right before the uh right before the uh concert happened. Right. Yeah, he he he he retracted his statement. But initially you say that we gotta learn Spanish. I think it's the other way around. You gotta learn English if you're in the 50 states. If I go to Mexico, Puerto Rico, I need to brush up on a little bit of Spanish in order to communicate with you. You know, we don't have to cater to everybody that comes here. Go to Japan, see if that works for you. I mean, there are people that speak multi-langu multilingual people, but as a whole, man, we shouldn't have to cater to this. I I know. I I'm I'm I'm sick of it. It's the Super Bowl, man. It's like it's like there's baseball and football, American sports. Right. The majority of the 50 states, this is how we speak.

SPEAKER_03:

But my question is, uh Chad, how many people are are are sick of it or just done?

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, I know who that is. I just figured out who that was. Is it somebody from Florida calling you? Yep. Yeah, me too. Yeah. I'll tell you in a little while. Okay. We we we've done work for them in the past. Never mind.

SPEAKER_03:

Gotcha. All right. So here's here's the thing. So how many people are sick and tired of it? Like, sick of the wokeness, sick of the shit being pushed over.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, okay, last last Super Bowl, we had that uh that dude. Kendrick Lamar. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That guy. All right, that was a whole political message. Why do we have to have a political message on Super Bowl? Something that we're well, like everybody comes together, watches the Super Bowl, you pull for your team, right? You know, one and like eat some wings, drink some beer, whatever, and have a good time. Speaking of it, I had some good chicken wings. I did too. Um, we made a we made a ton of wings. Um Jebby's. Jebby's wings. Oh, God, they're so good. Shout out to Jebbies. Yeah, yeah. Even though you're not sponsored, we don't care. We don't care. We love you. We don't know, we love it. Anyway, uh they cook with beef tallow. That's why. Um but but yeah, I mean, that's the whole purpose. Why is there gotta be a hidden? I mean, you got everything from satanic, like hidden messages and and and their performances to political statements. I mean, it it's it's goodall, the guy who runs the NFL. What's the name? Richard Goodall? Roger. Roger Goodall. Yeah. You're a prick, dude. Um I'm uh you are. Like you're just trying to stir up because you're there's no meaning, reason why you're doing this other than to stir the pot.

SPEAKER_03:

Of course, you know, now I mean, hell, I I'm I'm getting sick of I'm getting sick of the politics. Every now and again, people, I have to take a break from it. Yeah, you can't. I I get sick of watching it, I get sick of hearing it because it's it's it's people threatening us. I'm like, because I've seen some videos, man, of like these, these, these really like they're out there, dude. It's mentally ill. But they're sitting there like, oh, let's go to Civil War. Ah, I'm I'm gonna well, we're gonna we're gonna take over your fresh water. Like, motherfucker, let me tell you something. It's not gonna happen. And I'm sick of that. I'm sick of it. Yeah. Like, I can vote for a hoe I want for just like you can. Right. Like, quit telling me who like stop. Like, and I'm sick, I'm just sick of it. Like, I still I still live my life. I go do my thing. I got friends that are liberal, I got friends that are Democrat, I got friends that are Republican, I got friends that are far right, you know. I got friends of all all shapes, colors, and sizes, you could say.

SPEAKER_02:

And we can present your argument and we'll talk about it. Yeah, but that's the way it works.

SPEAKER_03:

But we don't like we don't go at each other's like we don't start killing each other. Especially the liberals, you know, they're they're starting to kill everybody.

SPEAKER_02:

They do underhanded shit.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, they they're underhanded. But I don't know. I just kind of keep myself now. Uh I'm tired of it. Whatever. So anyhow. Anyhow, let's get into our story today.

SPEAKER_02:

Before we do that, speaking of, we need to take a moment to remind our listeners out there uh that we are still planning our event. Oh, with uh Dog the Bounty Hunter, yes, and Leland Chapman. Uh Leland, buddy, hope you're out there. And uh we wanted to recognize a couple of our sponsors for the upcoming event, as well as well, one's a double. Um, the NCBAA, North Carolina Bale Association. We thank you guys. Uh you can't you step forward for this event. Uh the Pink Monkey Electronic Monitoring. Yes. She was the first one. Uh dude, she's like jumped up and said, Hey. Uh also NABA. Michelle, thank you. Thank you, Michelle. You stepped up uh for us. Uh Nabba, uh, that is uh also Momentum Distillery, a friend Hunter. Hunter, locally, he has a surprise for the event that he's gonna make. Yes.

SPEAKER_03:

I dude, I'm telling you, if y'all, if y'all ever in Wilmington, get by his distillery, pretty cool.

SPEAKER_02:

So he has like many, uh he has a couple different um like liquors that he makes as a distillery, and he makes a cool North Carolina-shaped bottle. He got a patent on, and he's gonna make a special etching right on the back of it. It's really cool. Right. He's doing that. And also we have the guitar pickers, local guitar guys.

SPEAKER_03:

My boys Jason and Adam over there, go see them guys. Uh, if you got a guitar, if you if you play music, go see them. The hook you rattled up. And the gross group.

SPEAKER_02:

So those are the ones so far that we've gotten as sponsors, and we're gonna hopefully pick up a few more for the event. And we want to thank them for sponsoring.

SPEAKER_03:

So if you look in the description down below the video, you can click on the link and it'll take you to our website, off the hookbail.com, and go to articles. You'll see Dog and Leland meeting.

SPEAKER_02:

The very first one is the tickets. If you're interested in tickets, the tickets are at the bottom of the article, and it takes you right to the tick-pick page to buy a ticket if you want to come. Yes. Yes, or you can just come for the freebie part, and that's after the uh podcast that we're gonna do with Dog and Leland.

SPEAKER_03:

And the band's gonna be playing the Softy Southern Band will be playing for you guys, and uh give me some entertainment so you you know you can sit there and meet Dog and jam out with us. It's gonna be a good time. Yep. All right, so into our since since Bad Bunny was as Puerto Rican, it's not gonna it's not quite the same in different countries, but because he don't like ice well, we got something for you. So to start this off, this is a story about Jesus. All right. All right. So uh I had to. Yeah, it's alright.

SPEAKER_02:

Good, it's a good intro.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh so Jesus. Um Jesus was a God, who where was this? Who was this for? I'm trying to remember who it was for now. I think it was bankers. Okay. I think it was bankers. I'll honestly do.

SPEAKER_02:

This is an insurance group, insurety group that we work under.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, it was like a$10,000 bond. Okay. And it was out of Johnson County. All right. Out of Johnson County. So I'm like, all right, cool. Who do I know in Johnson County? Regina. So I get the file and I'm looking at it, and it's Jesus, whatever, Martinez or something, whatever. Um common name, you know, you you look at it and go, kind of heck am I gonna.

SPEAKER_02:

Find out about Jesus. Exactly. That's tough.

SPEAKER_03:

So while I was up there in Johnson County, I had to go one day and go look at some other cases that they had sent me. It was from it was doing a cleanup on that bondsman that went out of business in Duplin County.

SPEAKER_02:

So when he says cleanup, that means a bondsman who just got out of the business and he had active forfeitures on people. So that's that's money out on the street that they're gonna have to pay. Yep. So you basically get hired by an insurance company to clean up the mess of what. Yeah, and then this can cost crazy amounts of money.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. So I'm up there looking through, and I'm there and the only now when it comes to Hispanic forfeitures, you you don't get much information, and you can't pull much information because they're under the radar. They're under the radar, it's all illegal. So there's nothing online. You have to actually go beat feet on the screen street. Yeah, yeah. Knocking doors. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

So I go out and I I go, there's there's two addresses.

SPEAKER_02:

You got that language barrier too. Yeah. They don't, you know, they well, that's why I got Regina. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I call her and go, hey, I need you to get up.

SPEAKER_02:

They know nobla when you come up to the door suddenly.

SPEAKER_03:

Um the two addresses I had for him, nothing. So I come back um because I had I had been working another case, and I came back and I'm like, I don't know what to do. So I called Regina. I said, Regina, I need you to help me up there. Because the only thing I've been told is he works in construction as an electrician at a hospital. There's a few hospitals up in Raleigh. There's Duke, there's there's Wake Med, there's Rex. And that's what her husband does, shorty. Yeah, yeah, sure. Yeah. That's what he does. I was like, huh, that's why I called him. Oh, okay. Makes sense. And so I'm like, hey, look, um, if you can if you can find out something, let me know. And she goes, sure, absolutely, I gotcha. Thank you, Regina. I love you. She's so great. Uh uh, we got one for Leland. Um, she did. I referred. Oh, yeah. Yep. Um, they got her, so that's another good story. Cool. Um, so anyway, so Regina's call uh one day, she calls me in the middle of it like that morning and goes, Hey, I need you to call, I need you like I need you to get up to wake med right now. I said, Okay. She goes, it's either Raleigh or Carrie. I said, Well, it's not far from each other, but I would like to know which one I need to go to first. And she goes, he's working as an electrician under this company in Carrie. I said, Okay. So I go to Carrie to the construction site. Go speak with the GC there. She goes, he goes, he's not here, bruh. But hang on, I'll find out. Okay. So I'm on the phone with Gina going, I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do. You know, you said he was here, but he's not.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

She goes, he's got to be at the Raleigh one then, right there off of Newburner in 440. I said, okay, cool. So and then the contractor comes back. Yes, he's he's definitely over there. And he's working in this section of the hospital. So when you go up, you know, I was like, all right, cool. Don't worry about it. You got any pictures of the guy? Uh I did. I did have a picture of the guy.

SPEAKER_02:

No, no, I mean, um, you don't have to produce one. I'm asking to have one in order for identification.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, we had the rest photo. That's it. Okay. The rest photo.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm not saying that I mean there are any distinguishable factors other than brown eyes and dark hair. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, it's tough. Yeah, right. We never met them.

SPEAKER_02:

You're going off sometimes, it's a black and white photo, and uh, you know, yeah, it's tough. Dark hair and brown eyes.

SPEAKER_03:

So I I drive over to Raleigh Wake Man, which isn't it, which is like not far. It's literally 10 minutes away. So I get there and I get out and I see, and this is like so like I can't believe I'm doing seeing this. I see a guy, H V A C guy, like walking around and he in and out of his truck, and I'm like, Thomas? He goes, Hey, what's up, man? Guy I graduated high school with. Oh, yeah. I was like, Oh, okay, what's going on? He goes, he goes, Oh man, you're just sitting here working on this site. I was like, hey, got a question for you. He's seen this guy. He knows he knows what I was I did for a living. Yeah, so he's like, Oh yeah, he goes, he works for me.

SPEAKER_02:

Wow, you got lucky, dude.

SPEAKER_03:

Can you take me to him? He goes, Yeah, he goes, he goes, You got a warrant. I'm like, yeah, he goes, Well, I don't need to say, I don't care. He goes, but he's a good guy. I was like, okay, good guy, whatever. Finishes his, you know, to do his business and he comes back.

SPEAKER_02:

Still got a warrant.

SPEAKER_03:

That's how it works. Still got a warrant. So we're we're beboping through the halls of Wake Man. Yeah. And I've got security with me because I'm not doing this, you know, like without them knowing. We've done this before. So I'm walking. I don't even have anything on me, but a uh I don't even have a gun on me. I've got handcuffs. Yeah, I know, right? And it and the the the the wake man police was like, You got a gun on you? I'm like, No. They were like, Oh, we thought you would. I was like, Well, I usually do, but this is a hospital. I ain't got I ain't gonna do nothing in the hospital. This is stupid. Yeah, I got you guys. And they're like, all right, cool. So I'm I'm beboping. And we come down this little hallway, and I see like legs hanging out of a ceiling, like because they're on lot on ladders everywhere, right? I'm like, oh, which one is it? He goes, Hey Zeus. He goes, I go, Hey Zeus, and then I I see like a couple of them look down and look at me. I'm like, oh damn, I can't tell which one's which. I'm like, everybody down on the ladders. Dude comes down, he was cool. Yeah, he comes out, he's like, and he didn't speak a lick English. Uh that sucks. And so I had a guy trans translating for me. Right. I'm like, dude, I was like, ask him why in the hell he missed court. He goes, why'd you miss court? He goes, I didn't know I had court. I was like, holy shit. This is the reason why you need to come in legally, because if you come in legally, you get explained, hey, if you get in trouble, you have a court day. I mean, he didn't he honestly, I don't think he really knew what the hell was going on.

SPEAKER_02:

I just thought of something. Are we gonna start making signs in Spanish? Like speed, like, like left turn, right turn in Spanish? I don't think so. Like like street signs, like I mean, I'm just saying to be, you know, to help them out. Left o right o you know. No, Robert. No, and I'm serious. Like, like you know, signs with words, uh, English, English words, you you would have to have it in Spanish, right?

SPEAKER_03:

So I I don't know, man. Maybe they made him they they should have made a street sign for him, the left-do to the jello. So anyway, I I take him down to Johnson County.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm sure he was told when he came out of jail the first time. Dude, I don't know. I know we weren't there, you know. We weren't there to know, but I'm just saying it had to be told to him by a magistrate, you know. Well, he probably wasn't absorbing it because it wasn't in English or Spanish. Exactly.

SPEAKER_03:

He didn't understand it. He has had zero clue of English. So I take him, I let him like I I I don't let him use the phone until we get to the jail. Because I don't want him calling somebody and then his buddies, yeah, but so we get to jail, I'm like, here, use your phone. So he he's he's talking Spanish the whole time. And I'm going into Johnson County and they're like, Johnson County will kind of like they're kind of buttholes. No. The jail. Yeah, but they took them. Yeah. It took forever, uh, but they took them. That but that's a ten thousand dollar bond that right, but now now this is before the like ice is like detaining everybody, because I don't know if I don't know where he's at. I mean he could have gotten now, who knows? I I don't know. But now if you're illegal and you get caught, you're you're not going nowhere. I mean, that they're just you're gone. Right. So that's but that's been the but it's been like that for a long time too. So I don't understand it.

SPEAKER_02:

So I just saw a uh article on WCT, our local news channel, very left-leaning. They make they put out post for Rage Bait. And I saw I saw that they said that Donald Trump is denying um uh how did they word it? Uh immigrants of um being able to post bond. Oh really? Yeah. And I'm like, really? You can post bond. Why would you give bond to someone who has already proven they came in illegally? Well, they get a bond. They get a bond, but I know they do if they commit um like a driving infraction. I don't know. He's saying like when ice picks them up. Like ice is the last step. When you get arrested, say say you're illegally here, you get a DWI, you hit somebody, very common with uh Hispanic bonds. Yes. DWI is no insurance, that kind of thing. And and you go to jail, um, there's an ice detainer. Right. If you're illegal, they have ice has 48 hours to pick you up if you make bond, right? Isn't that how it works?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, but that but uh from what I've been told, they're there a couple times a week getting people now. With whether you get a bond or not. Whether you know you get bonded out or not, yeah. You always get a bond. But we, I mean, as a bondsman, we're smart because we're not gonna touch the bond because why would we?

SPEAKER_02:

Ice picks them up, they take them to a uh one of those places in Charlotte, North Carolina or Atlanta, Georgia, the hubs, right, and you become a number. We can't we can't track them from there. Right. And so we're screwed because the court system says, hey, where's your client? That's our job to get you the to court. Well, our our client got picked up by ice. Well, that's not our fault. He's not here in court, right? And we therefore we have to pay. So that's why bondsmen won't touch illegal bonds in case.

SPEAKER_03:

It's not it's not that we're doing it, that we're not doing it.

SPEAKER_02:

We're not doing it out of meanness. I mean, we're doing it because we're gonna get screwed really bad.

SPEAKER_03:

If you don't I'll say what Tom Homan will always say, if you don't like how it rolls, how it rolls, get your get your politicians to vote differently, uh, to to make the laws different. Because it's not up to us. We're just following the rules here.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

So well anyway, that's the storyhead of the Jesus.

SPEAKER_02:

They're trying to hurry up before the midterms.

SPEAKER_03:

I think Republicans are retarded too when it comes to that. Some of them are acting retarded. You see where they're the the the voter ID laws, they're trying to like I don't understand where they're like where they're coming up where women can't vote because because they're saying it's because of like say if they got married, they changed their last name and won't match up. What? Yeah. That'll make sense. They're saying it's voter suppression if you do ID. But you gotta have an ID to uh to drive, you gotta have an ID to get into places, you gotta have an ID to fish, hunt, fly in an airplane, uh you gotta have an ID to to get government benefits.

SPEAKER_02:

Okay. I'm still thinking about what you said. It doesn't make sense.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, they're saying that they're saying it suppresses women's right to vote because when they get married, their name changes, so it's not gonna match up to their registration. So they say, Oh, sorry, you can't vote. That's what they're saying.

SPEAKER_02:

That's not right.

SPEAKER_03:

No, it's not. I mean, it's all it's all it's all trash. It's all it's all lies that the media puts out. So I think it's a smart idea to have an ID to vote. Yeah. Because it is so crooked. Yeah. I mean, I don't care what side of the aisle you're on, you've got to agree with us that it uh there's there's been a lot of fraud. I mean, hell, you see all the fraud going on with like uh like the daycares up in Minnesota and and and the train rail in California just with money. Just think it can be with with voting also.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh yeah, by the way, since we're talking about things. Oh um Did you see Friday? The uh stock stock market, the Dow. Yes, everything. So the Dow hit an all-time high of over 50,000. Um you know, when Biden was in office, I was surprised that the stock market was as high as it was while he was in office. I mean, I was shocked. But every time you heard a liberal person talk about Joe Biden, he you he's doing so great. Look at the stock market. I'm not saying that is a marker to indicate the economy. I'm not saying that. But a lot of people do use it as a marker for the economy. Right. And apparently, when it's convenient, Democrat people seem to say, well, look, Joe Biden's making the stock market go up. Right. Well, guess what? Donald Trump under him, stock market's at a all-time high. Well, you know, well, it's not it's not Donald Trump. You know, right. The story changes. Which is it? You know, so I don't know. I mean, it's just an observation. Um I saw, and it's kind of kind of crazy that it got.

SPEAKER_03:

Everybody's 401k should be good doing pretty good.
