A weekend in Nashville set the stage for something bigger: a candid look at how public voices shape private lives, and how fast hype can outpace reality. We kick off with Kenny Chesney’s refreshingly apolitical stance and use it to examine a question we wrestle with often: when should a platform be a bridge, not a bludgeon? From there, we trace the ripple effects of big-city leadership choices, shifting crime incentives, and the downstream moves people make when safety and taxes collide.

The conversation moves fast but stays grounded. We unpack the latest government shutdown maneuvers and the rare, eyebrow-raising votes that crossed party lines, not as a scoreboard moment but as a glimpse into how policy actually moves. Then we pull back the curtain on the outrage engine: bots flooding local comment sections, fake accounts stoking rage, and real communities left to sift truth from noise. Even our lighthearted gripe about early Christmas decor fits the theme—seasons need space, and when everything’s urgent, nothing feels meaningful.

Our anchor story is a wild one. We track a pair we call “Bonnie and Clyde” from whispers in Florence, South Carolina to a sleek hotel near Raleigh’s Crabtree area. One tip, one vice site, and a few telling tattoos become a map. We coordinate with hotel staff, choose a room that watches the elevators, and wait. She appears first, denial meets ink, and seconds later he rounds the corner. The hallway tightens, strangers hover, and we move with control. We exit clean, connect with Raleigh police, and watch two people cling to each other as the moment catches up. It’s messy, human, and real—the kind of case that reminds us why preparation and restraint matter.

If you want a show that blends street-level stories with clear-eyed takes on culture, policy, and how the internet warps both, you’re in the right place. Hit follow, share this with a friend who loves true fieldwork and sharp conversation, and leave a quick review to help more listeners find us. Your feedback shapes where we go next.

Nashville Trip And Kenny Chesney

SPEAKER_05

Very fine people on books tonight.

SPEAKER_03

These are real stories, but the names have been changed.

SPEAKER_05

What's happening, everybody? Rob here. Chad here. What's up? Oh man. So uh uh my weekend went well. Uh I'm gonna start off with that. Um, Nashville, Tennessee, uh was taken there for my for my uh surprise birthday party, uh birthday gift, and uh went and saw Kenny Chesney on the book tour. And uh we did Nashville as usual, and then we went and ate. So last night there, we went and ate at Kid Rock's restaurant.

SPEAKER_04

Cool. Happy birthday, by the way.

SPEAKER_05

Uh, thank you. Um man, I'm I'm telling you what, man, the restaurant was pretty badass. Cool. That's pretty badass. I I recommend if anybody's in Nashville, go go see that. And uh and and uh one thing is is Kenny, when uh he was talking during his tour, and you know how we talk about, you know, let these these artists, these and these celebrities uh telling you about politics.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they should shut up and do their job. Shut up and dance or act.

SPEAKER_05

Well, they've they've tried to do that with that him, trying to get him to Oh, trying to get him to pick a side. Yeah, pick a side. But he was like, no, he his exact words that day was said, Why why should I use my platform to tell somebody who to vote for? You get to wake up every morning and see that shit on the news. Good point. He said, I got my own opinions, but they're mine.

SPEAKER_04

Yep, that's what it should be.

SPEAKER_05

And he's he goes, I just want to bring everybody together, which I like. I like about him.

SPEAKER_04

That's awesome. So I like the guy even more.

Celebrities, Politics, And Polarization

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I know, right? Uh, but he did make a joke about it. He said, Well, back, you know, back when I was growing up, my my granddaddy, you know, and my mom always butt a heads because my mom's a Republican, my granddaddy was a Democrat. He goes, I said that.

SPEAKER_04

I never understood how couples can be one, you know, one of each. Like I don't it it eventually doesn't work out. It it's gotta be a strain, you know. You just have a different view than person that you're with all the time.

SPEAKER_05

And yeah, just don't know how that works. He said, Granddaddy, what are you? Are you Democrat or Republican? He goes, I'm Democrat, but I'm saving up to be a Republican.

SPEAKER_04

That's from a different time.

SPEAKER_05

But that was from a different time. That was back in the Reagan days.

SPEAKER_04

See, so a Democrat today wouldn't recognize a Democrat from Oh God, they'll be racist.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, or fascist.

SPEAKER_04

They would be considered a conservative today.

New York’s Leadership And Crime Concerns

SPEAKER_05

You know, so speaking of being racist and fascist, how about New York? Oh, yeah. Mondama.

SPEAKER_04

I guess I was thinking about uh yeah, the the downfall of New York. Yeah, that's gonna be great. Um well I I shouldn't say that. Um, California and New York are are big big places that lead the country. Uh-huh. You know. And um I think they're set up for a big fall with this guy. Man, I I say you you know, get your popcorn and sit back and watch because this is gonna be it's gonna be Yeah, I've heard of uh people with money uh that are leaving the city. Uh they're pulling out of there. Um what was it? Oh, I saw he gave his first interview, Mundami gave his first interview. Did not go well. Uh apparently one of his major promises is to tax the the Uber rich. And um unfortunately, he can't do that without the approval from the governor. Oh, yeah. That's Kathy Holchel. Holch, I ever how you say her name. And she's already said she's not going to approve that.

SPEAKER_05

Well, it doesn't matter what either one of them do. I mean, there are people already moving out. I think I heard a spike in Connecticut real estate and a spike in Florida. And you see what Governor DeSantis said, hey, NYPD, if you're leaving the city and want to keep your job as an officer, we'll give you a$5,000 signal bonus for coming.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, you know, I know some of the guys like in my neighborhood, you know, that were NYPD and you know, they come down with a nice pension and uh they could do that. So they could up and leave and go to Florida, and most of them probably just fine. So I well, I also heard that a bunch already had uh already quit the force. Yeah. If that's true. I know the uh it's hard to believe everything that you read on there, you know.

SPEAKER_05

Well, I was told I I saw that the fire administrator, which is the fire chief, um, has stepped down um the next day. And that's sad to see, especially after 9-11. You know.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, New York was a great city. Um Giuliani did wonders. And they're saying this could be a whole cycle where they're gonna fail and then somebody'll pick it up the next one and and and try to redo it like Giuliani if they can find somebody like him.

SPEAKER_05

Well, that here is here's the problem. Nobody wants to be hard on crime anymore. Giuliani was hard on crime. Yes, he was. So, but he cleaned the city up. Yeah, they got some real problems up there. Uh, just don't bring him down here, is all we ask.

Government Shutdown And Party Lines

SPEAKER_04

No. Um, yeah, that whole Muslim thing that's gonna be happening in the cities, you know. You can only imagine. I mean, I hear Minnesota's you can hear the horns or whatever they do that they have prayer time.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, five o'clock in the morning.

SPEAKER_04

Try that in the south. That will not go.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, arrend that gun every shotgun.

SPEAKER_04

No.

SPEAKER_05

Oh man. All right, so well, did you hear about the um government shutdown?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I hear the that they uh eight, I believe it's eight Democrats crossed the party lines to agree in the Senate. Um, on uh in one of them, well, let's see. Um, Fetterman.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Um Fetterman, I think didn't he have like a stroke or something like a year ago and uh it knocked some sense in him? Like he he actually sounds like he's you know, ever since then. He looks like the guy from the Goonies. Yeah, he does. And you got baby roof, he totally does, man. But I swear he's he's got more, I mean, he still has no fashion sense, but he has um gotten a little more common sense.

SPEAKER_05

I think he's like people ain't giving him the credit where credit's due.

SPEAKER_04

It's hard to when you're in a position like that and you dress like that, you know. I mean, you dress for the job, yeah, you know, and and it's kind of hard to take that guy serious. But if he would clean it up a little bit, and now the way he sounds, I mean, dude's could make strides, you know. Yeah. But um, the other one that crossed the party line, which is very surprising, was Kamala's running mate, Tampon Tim. Tampon Tim. So I don't know all the details. Um, you know, filming this, it just happened last night. So tomorrow when this is released.

SPEAKER_05

So the sentence passed, now it's got to go through the house, and they have to pass it, and then it goes on the president's desk for final signature.

SPEAKER_04

So hopefully they can get this resolved, you know, before the holidays. Yeah, because I keep, you know, I was I was flying this past weekend and I was kind of worried about I was thinking about you, and I was watching uh all the flights that were canceled.

SPEAKER_05

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_04

And uh I saw the major cities, and it's not Charlotte, wasn't one, so you weren't really No, we had direct flights actually. Yeah, oh did you know.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, from Wilmington to Nashville.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so the there was like three or four major hubs that were that were really affected.

Media Noise, Bots, And Outrage

SPEAKER_05

The only thing that affected us while we went was when we were landing in Nashville. Uh we had a circle a couple times because he said that you know traffic control was kind of hectic. I was like, oh, okay. Well, but we but we still landed no problem, but you know, who knows? Right. I mean, you're just getting told what to be told. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

But who knows? I I'm I'm uh I'm curious to see once this shutdown happens, what once the shutdown goes away and everything's back on to normal, what's the next problem or issue or big you know I saw you know, you saw Trump was at the Redskin game.

SPEAKER_04

I don't say Redskins because I can't it is it is the Redskins get over people. Commanders will never soak in.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So um, yeah, they need to go back to the Washington Redskins.

SPEAKER_05

I agree, I agree.

SPEAKER_04

Um, but yeah, that was pretty cool. So Trump can do all kinds of jobs. Right. You know, he worked at McDonald's. He he's been a sports announcer now. He did a pretty good job, actually.

SPEAKER_05

Uh he goes, let's see what goes on here. And then as you know, they scored.

SPEAKER_04

He's like, All right, you know, I think that was pretty cool. I saw him talking to one of the other announcers, and like he was like, Hey, that's my job. Trump. Trump comes in.

SPEAKER_05

But I know I saw where the owner gave him a jersey that had 47 on it, you know, and I I'm glad to see people are starting to, you know, yeah, accept him a little bit more. But God, people, come on, y'all stop with the racist, like the the fascist, the racist, the crap, and all that. I'm tired of it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, um I think we're driven by the internet a lot. You know, I was telling you earlier, um, you know, one of the people that we know that got into an issue and um they were on the local news. And um, I was looking at all the comments and I'm just like, these are terrible. And then I would click like on them. They're not real. A lot of them weren't real. They were bots. There were bots.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

But like this is our local news, man. Like, that's kind of crazy.

SPEAKER_05

And just think about it nationally, what it's like.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. If like if it's local and you know, it's bots, like nationally, it's literally trying to get people mad at each other. Right. That's literally what it is. I mean, you can see it. And you know, to an extent, I'm sure it's working.

Holiday Rant And Christmas Creep

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. They they don't care what you say, they're gonna believe no matter what there is, especially like the like the people beside me in the airplane had uh the the mask on. I kept looking, I'm like, you know it's over with, right?

SPEAKER_04

Well, I mean, I would cut them a little slack because you are breathing recycled air in an airplane. So it's still stupid, but uh I would cut them a little more slack, you know, than just walking around.

SPEAKER_05

Uh well, true. You know, it is kind of I guess flu season, so well speaking of sickness, I got we got uh one other thing, man, before we before we move. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_04

Um are you a fan of putting up the Christmas tree before Thanksgiving? No. Okay.

SPEAKER_05

I think the day after was is sufficient.

SPEAKER_04

Dude, I swear to God, I am so tired.

SPEAKER_05

There we go.

SPEAKER_04

I am so tired of like, okay, after Halloween, immediately I see people with Christmas shit in their in on their house. And I'm like, dude, I I'm a fan of Thanksgiving. I like pumpkin and pumpkins and I like Thanksgiving, man. I give it its own month. The hay bales, the pumpkins. You want to get your tree Thanksgiving Day, I understand, you know, but do you really want 60 days of Christmas?

SPEAKER_05

I I like because my birthday is in November. I like to have my birthday before I see start Christmas trees up everywhere. I can't, I no, I will not happen in my house.

SPEAKER_04

It was 82 degrees here yesterday. I know, it felt really good nice, you know. I mean, Thanksgiving, not Christmas. Christmas, I think, of snow and uh, you know, sleigh bells and you know, all that stuff. Not just nuts roasting on an open fire. Yeah, it's not time for that yet. Stop it, you know.

SPEAKER_05

Look, Thanksgiving is like one of my favorite, my my favorite time of the year.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like the people that that do that are falling for the whole thing. I mean, I get all the uh the businesses wanting to sell you crap, and you know, you're falling for it because it's it's extra time for them to sell you stuff and you're pressured to. So I get it, but just each month gets its own, man. I'm sorry. Anyway, that's just my rant.

SPEAKER_05

I I'm with you. I dude, I I I agree with you 100%. I wait till the day after Christmas, uh day after Thanksgiving, yeah, and goes up, and then uh and then you can enjoy it then.

Remembering Tiny And Industry Shoutouts

SPEAKER_04

But dude, I'm seriously thinking about cutting a hole in my floor and like having a platform and like we got our first artificial tree last year. We've been doing real ones forever, and I was like, I'm done. You know, I'm done throwing away a skeleton of a tree, you know, it's shedding everywhere, and like we got a really nice one. It's really it's really nice. Anyway, if I could just make this hole in the floor platform with like and have it like a button on the wall and push and just go down to the floor, covers up Christmas time, push it and it comes back up. Ding ding ding ding ding ding. You know, like lights flashing and sound, you know, great because you gotta drag all that shit out now. Gotta go upstairs in the attic, get the big bag, put it together, yeah, drag all the shit out, you know.

SPEAKER_05

God, I dread it.

SPEAKER_04

Yep.

SPEAKER_05

Uh dread it. Uh don't anyway. Don't remind me. So uh what I was about to say, we gotta um give a big shout-out off the hook uh podcast here. Wants to throw out a big sincere like we love you guys and we're sorry for your loss.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, we lost a we lost a bondsman of uh a long time.

SPEAKER_05

Yes.

SPEAKER_04

Um Edward Tiny. Tiny. Yep.

SPEAKER_05

Out of Rocky Mount. He's helped he's helped us a ton, he's helped me a ton. I've helped him out. You know, Jazz. I mean, he's been all kind of help each other. He was part of the board one time.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, he was. Yep. At the NCBA lost his wife a few years ago.

SPEAKER_05

And it was hard on him. Yeah, and it was hard, and then he got um and and then he um he got he got cancer, and then he beat it, and then he got pneumonia, and it took him off a ventilator, and he was doing good, and then it just took him out. And so I mean, ever since his wife died, it it's been it's been hard. So Tiny, we love you, buddy, and um Yeah, we'll miss you, bud. Yeah, absolutely. Why are you up there? Say hey to my mom for me. And Miss Donna, your wife. Um but yeah, it's um it's sad to it's sad to hear you know someone like that of that statue uh to leave us. Yeah, yeah, he was he was great for the unfortunately it's gonna happen.

SPEAKER_04

We have no choice when, so deal with it best we can. Yep. All right, well, we gotta give a shout out speaking at NCBAA.

SPEAKER_05

Here is our sponsor. Sponsors North Carolina Bell Agent Association since 1992 helping us out and taking up for everybody.

SPEAKER_04

In the bail industry, helping with their laws. We appreciate you.

Liberal Meltdown Segment

SPEAKER_05

Thank you, thank you, thank you. So, um uh Chad, I've got now, I gotta get this off.

SPEAKER_04

No, is it?

SPEAKER_05

Are you ready? It's time for the liberal meltdown of the day. Yeah. On this episode. I haven't seen this one. Let's go. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It's it's pretty, it's pretty I'm I'm not gonna play the whole thing, but I swear to god, if you idiots elect that demented man, I will burn this whole fing place to the ground.

SPEAKER_04

I love the dancing it's great. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I woke up this morning and started raging.

SPEAKER_02

I do think I'm gonna be doing better than every night of the morning.

SPEAKER_05

Look at him. Honestly, no idea.

SPEAKER_04

That's a mental situation, man. We got that angry over buying me. He talked way worse. I mean, man. Oh my gosh. You like that one? Yeah, that one's pretty good, man. All right, good, good.

SPEAKER_05

I think I'm really in stuff.

SPEAKER_04

You won't ever run out of them either. For this segment, you know?

SPEAKER_05

I think that's a good uh add to our segment. Yeah, I think so too. People's going crazy. Yeah, because it just shows them how mentally retarded they are. Oh, don't say retarded.

SPEAKER_04

But they are bring back retarded.

SPEAKER_05

Bring it back.

SPEAKER_04

Jeez, bring back bullying. I mean, within reason.

The Bonnie And Clyde Case Begins

SPEAKER_05

All right, so let's get on to our story of the day. All right, the story. So the story of today, of this episode, is Bonnie and Clyde. Is that one up there? Uh no, it's the one I texted you over the weekend.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, all right.

SPEAKER_05

All right, so the hotel I was staying in in Nashville, the way it was set up, the rooms were and the doors were reminded me of this hotel that we got them at. Uh-huh. So you remember, you know, the hotel in Raleigh beside Crabtree Valley Mall that we did our continuing egg class at.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

That's where it was at. That's where I got them at.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, so your hotel was like that.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. So this was, it was two. It was two$20,000 bonds from bankers.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

And it was a boyfriend, girlfriend, and they were together. So I was like, Both of them had a warrant? Both of them had warrants, both of them had forfeitures. You know, we were ready to go.

SPEAKER_04

Nice. Two for one.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. So started doing my due diligence, started looking, and we saw where they had family down in Florence, and they had got in trouble down there. That's a shit all. Oh, God, it is, right?

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

So Matt was with me at this time. And we go, me and Matt take a trip down to Florence, South Carolina.

SPEAKER_04

Matt and I.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, Matt and I. Helping with your English. Yeah, I'm sorry about that. So Matt and I go down to Florence and we spend all that morning looking around, talking to folks, and we finally bump into some like distant family members.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

And they're like, yo, they're not here no more. They got in trouble. And I'm like, okay, cool. All right. Well, so what's up? Well, she's hooking. And he's pimping her out.

SPEAKER_04

Isn't that a nice boyfriend?

SPEAKER_05

Oh. And then you can find them on this website. Hey. Hey. That's handy. Okay, so we're we're starting to look. I'm like, all right, where are they at? He goes, I heard they went up to North Carolina. Oh. Near Raleigh. I was like, well, why do they go back to where they're wanted from? Because they were wanted out of Wake County.

SPEAKER_04

That doesn't sound quite right.

SPEAKER_05

It doesn't sound right. So of course we're kind of, you know, we don't trust this dude 100%.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Doesn't sound like he knows 100% what that is true either. That's what he heard.

SPEAKER_05

So of course, the PI thing comes out. We're on his website. And we're looking. And lo and behold, there she is. Tattoos matching and all.

SPEAKER_04

That's what I love about tattoos.

Tracking Leads From Florence To Raleigh

SPEAKER_05

Yes, tattoos were matching. Her face was on there. I'm like, all right, so they're they're math. They're doing drugs. They're meth up. So I said, okay, cool. And he said, if you find her, you're gonna find him. So we're excited because it's like two for one, you know. Christmas special. Hey, Christmas special, right? And it was around the holidays. So we're in Florence, South Carolina. We're like, shit, now we gotta go. Because it was the the ad was at a Raleigh. So we're like, hell, we gotta go to Raleigh. I was like, all right. If you know where Florence is at, it's in South Carolina. It's about an hour from the border, and then you're about two hours, so it's about a three-hour drive. Yeah. And we had been, and this is around one, two o'clock. I'm like, well, shit, by the time we get up there, it's gonna be afternoon, it's gonna be getting dark, you know, all nine. Right. All right. Well, I asked Matt, I said, You want to do it? He's like, Yeah, let's go. So we get in the car and we start heading north and we start start looking, you know.

SPEAKER_04

So did you all right? So this is like an ad?

SPEAKER_05

Is this what you it's an ad, it's an ad on a website.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, so you can get a hooker hooker. Did you make reservations then to meet or did you wait? That's what I was about to tell you. Okay, all right, yes. Yes, yes, we're thinking thinking ahead here. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, no, no, no, no. Okay.

SPEAKER_05

So, all right, so chat, we we're on 95 and we reach out to her, and we're about almost to the 40, the I-40 exit, right?

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

So I was like, and we we keep we're reaching out to her. Hey, we want to hook up, blah, blah, blah. She's responding.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, good.

SPEAKER_05

She's like, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, cool, cool. Let's meet up. I said, All right, where are you at? She goes, when you get to Raleigh, let me know. So I'm like, Well, I don't want to, because I told her I told her while I was some John traveling, you know, blah, blah, blah.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

And she was cool with it. She goes, Well, I'm near Crabtree Valley Mall. So I know the area I'm supposed to go to. There's a bunch of hotels around there though. So I'm like, okay, let's go. We'll get in there. She goes, let me know when you get nearby. So of course, me and Matt, or Matt and I, excuse me. Better. Thank you. Matt and I we stop at a rednet barbecue lab and a had eight. I know, right? And we get up there and it's starting to get dark. Because it's near the holidays, you know.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, yeah. It gets dark earlier.

Setting The Hotel Sting

SPEAKER_05

And she's responding back, going, Yeah, yeah, I'll be available. Like, I don't know what time it was. I won't say around it. It was like seven, eight o'clock. Okay, I'm like, all right, we're we're in town. What what hotel do you want me to get? And you can come and she goes, well, just come to this hotel and get a room. I'm like, okay, cool. So we go to that hotel she's at, go speak with the front office, but we speak with them in the back. And we're like, hey, all right, this is what's up. Because they were cool. I mean, they were there, they're look you can tell they were legit people at uh this hotel.

SPEAKER_06

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

It's not a shitty hotel. Right. It's really nice. Matter of fact, it's where we did our continuum with Ed one year.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

So they're like, yes, they are definitely here.

SPEAKER_04

So me and so Matt and I have to keep we've we've had that same response with people that run hotels before. Yeah. That's what I'm thinking.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. So they're like, yes. She's active at night and not active during the day. And she's paid up for the week. Her and her boyfriend, by the way. Boom. Boom. Are both there. And she's and she's like talking to me the whole entire time. And I'm like, all right, to the hotel. I'm like, can you get us a room? They're like, yeah, we can let you have a room. This is where it reminded me this past weekend, because I have the rooms are set up with the doors reside like a little cocky, right? So we got to the floor that she was on. We got a room right by the elevator to you can where you can look out the peephole and you can see who's coming in out of the elevator.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Because that's where we're kind of waiting to see, you know, for them. So we get up there and I tell her, hey, we're in room such and such. She's like, oh, cool, I'm not far from you. Let me go get ready and I'll come meet up with you. Okay, well, you know, you can't really trust a meth head to be on time.

SPEAKER_04

You're not punctual.

SPEAKER_05

No. And we're sitting here, we're inside this room. We're we're vested up, ready to rock and roll, because we know there's people with them. And me and Matt keep uh Matt and I keep uh taking turns looking at this peephole. And I'm looking at it right now and I'm like, hey, Matt, I think that's them. And he looks out and he goes, Yep, that's them. I said, What do you want to do? He goes, let's jump out and grab her. She's by herself. I said, okay.

SPEAKER_04

What about the boyfriend?

SPEAKER_05

Boyfriend was not nowhere around.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, what are you gonna do?

SPEAKER_05

I don't know. That's we had to make a split second, dude. We didn't know what to do. Get one of the two. Yeah. So I'm like, all right, well, let's get her. And then we'll she'll lead us to him. We jump out and we grab her. And she goes, Oh, I'm not who you looking for. I'm like, okay. She has this big tattoos. So I'm like, I turn around and lift her shirt up and she's in cuffs already.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

And I'm like, come on, man. I know this is you. And she's like, and she's like, screaming. She's screaming. And next thing you know, her her boyfriend comes running around. What's up? He was a little guy too. Little skinny guy. He came around and I said, Oh, look at you.

SPEAKER_06

Aren't you cute?

SPEAKER_05

Matt's got her.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah.

The Grab, The Crowd, The Exit

SPEAKER_05

I jump on him and throw him against the wall. I'm getting he goes, What you pressing me for? I said, just shut up and wait. So I like we get him, we get him, we get him in handcuffs, and he is like, they got friends that are coming out the door, and we've got two people in cuffs. So I've got one and Matt's got one. We don't know who these people are. Right. That's that's a little risky. So and they start coming out, and they're like, hey, hey, well, I pull my side arm, my firearm. Yeah. And I don't point it at them, but I've got to point out I said, you come near me, I will shoot or we'll shoot you. Because I I don't know what you're going to do to me.

SPEAKER_04

Right. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

So they go back into the room, I holster back up, we go in the elevator, we come down, man. We come out there, and they're both boo-hooing the whole time. Uh so Bonnie and Clyde. So Bonnie and Clyde come walking out past the front desk. The front desk was like, I'm like, do you need to do anything before you check out? Because you're checking out, well.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you're definitely checking out.

SPEAKER_05

You're definitely checking out. Yeah. I was like, you know, there's more people in the room, and they're like, yeah, we're gonna call the cops. I'm like, all right, cool, call the cops, we're gonna take them. So we take them, get him in the car, and we take off. And I'm like, man, we should have waited for the cops. But we wanted to get the hell out of there because we didn't we didn't know who these people were. And so Matt and I uh call RPD, which our PD has always been really easy to deal with. And they meet us there off Capitol Boulevard, and they're sitting there, there we got them both sitting on the curb and they're both like loving on each other like this. Like she's like, I'm gonna miss you, baby. Hey, I'm gonna miss you too, sweetheart. And this is horrible. I'm like, yeah, I know, right? And I'm I look at him and go, hey bro, I got a question for you before you go to jail. I said entertain my question. Let me ask you, I said, do you like your girlfriend banging other dudes? I was like, because this is kind of weird to me. You're the loving dubby. You know, you know where her mouth's been. It's been on like half a robber. And what do you do? Do you sit in this little chair in the corner? Yeah, but do you do you like supervise? I mean, what's going on?

SPEAKER_04

What'd he say to all that?

SPEAKER_05

Uh nothing. He just looked at me like he hated me.

SPEAKER_04

Probably did. Oh well, you know, you're the one doing that.

SPEAKER_05

Well, I'm curious. I mean, do you take one to the eye for?

SPEAKER_04

Here I hold her leg. Stupid, man. What's wrong with you?

SPEAKER_05

Ugh. Here, it takes a myth. Uh, so that's what happened with Bonnie and Clyde. That's the story of Bonnie and Clyde.

SPEAKER_04

Turnover To Police And Aftermath

SPEAKER_05

And then Heather's like, what are you doing? I'm like, I'm texting Chad real quick. I I just remembered a story. And she was like, What? I was like, Yeah, a story about you know, talking about on the podcast. And she's laughing at me because she's like she knows I've done this before. Right. Like, we'll we'll do that, you know. Me and Chad will do that to each other. Uh and it's hilarious. So Bonnie and Clyde, man. Good man. Uh that's uh that's always a uh that's always a good one. Uh I don't know.
