Speaker 1:

When people are released from jail, they have the responsibility to appear in court, but some of these people choose to go on the run.

Speaker 2:

They go back home to mommy.

Speaker 1:

And that is when these guys come into the picture. So sit back and listen to the Off the Hook podcast with Chad and Rob.

Speaker 2:

Very fine people on both sides.

Speaker 1:

These are real stories, but the names have been changed.

Speaker 2:

What's going on, guys? I'm Rob and I'm Chad.

Speaker 3:

What's up? What's happening everybody? What's happening Chad, how you doing today.

Speaker 2:

How you doing, brother. I'm doing all right, man. You know it's been a wild ride this past month. It's been nice, like I said from the last one you said a weight lifted off your shoulders.

Speaker 3:

Right. I hear that from a lot of people.

Speaker 2:

So today, guys, we're going to be telling you a little story, uh about right before I came on and we're gonna go back 10 years ago yeah yes, god, I can't believe 10 years ago.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you've been around that long yeah, man, do you got anything?

Speaker 2:

oh, you know what I could. I got something exciting going on. My fingers hurt like hell right now. But uh, my band, the Salty Southern Band. We just put it together about a couple months ago. It's an interesting name you got there, I know right, it looks like the hat you got on. We're playing our first show downtown Wilmington at Permanent on December 7th. It's during the day and it's a bunch of other bands there playing kind of like Battle of the Bands type thing, but it's going to be fun. Gary Steele, what's up? Buddy, can't wait. Actually, gary's playing with us. Hey, gary, yeah, he's playing keys with us. But speaking of Salty Southern Band, right, so I got the damn band name. I couldn't figure out a band name. Chad's doing his thing with the hat and shirts and I'm like off the hook Salty Southern gear. And I'm like off the hook, salty Southern gear. I'm like the Salty Southern band, it's a good name.

Speaker 2:

I like it. I got it from Chad here. Chad's got the off the hook Salty Southern gear and he's like, look, he's getting the inventory together right now.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah I showed you some stuff. I had Long sleeve stuff that's coming in next week. So I'm long sleeve um stuff that's coming in next week. So I'm getting, I'm getting my inventory together and then I'll have my website and I'll be able to launch it officially.

Speaker 2:

I mean, I'm excited because I dude some of the long sleeve like the sun shirt sheet yeah, yeah you showed me yesterday. I cannot wait, because I'm a big hunter.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and the thermals. I got a couple thermals, yeah, yeah, it's gonna be.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I can't. My whole closet is to be nothing but off the hook softy Southern gear. I keep buying like Chad, I want this, this and this and he's like all right, cool.

Speaker 3:

I'm like hey man, you know, trying to put out some good stuff.

Speaker 2:

So that's, that's another thing man Like. So if you've got a friend who's starting a new business or or starting something like this, don't expect a handout like help support them, because you know that's, you know you're fulfilling dreams, man, you're doing good.

Speaker 3:

There's not a lot of markup in shirt, not a lot no I mean, at least I haven't figured that out yet, but it's fun to do. You know, it's just something I wanted to do for a long time and I'm gonna finally do it, yeah my dad.

Speaker 2:

I bought my dad one of these hats and he plays golf and he loves it yeah, yeah, yeah, get compliments on these things, yeah, I got compliments like I said down in uh, st croix and miami.

Speaker 3:

At miami airport I got compliments like because I have a shirt and a hat on, okay she was calling me and anyway well uh, probably spam, right anyway.

Speaker 2:

So in big news today we saw you know, of course Biden's trying to screw everything up again.

Speaker 3:

What's this? Starting a war before you leave stuff, I mean.

Speaker 2:

Man, the dude, don't even know where he's going, much less knows how to tell somebody to start. You know to get this shit going. Why, why, why, why do you want more fighting? At least tell us your reasoning, why. But he's not doing it. He's just starting to shit before Trump gets in, because they know Trump is for real and he got majority to vote, popular vote, um, and he's got such a good cabinet coming in with him like we're all excited to see what.

Speaker 3:

I think a lot of people are in it and some of them on the other side that won't admit it. Um, you know, and, like it's been funny in the news, what's that morning, joe? Uh, the woman and the guy they're actually married in her life, that are co-hosts with each other, that have went down to Mar-a-Lago and met with Trump, even though they were just, you know, hated him for you know all these years and claimed he was Hitler and all this stuff. Well, they decided to go down and talk to him and then they get a lot of know flack from their side when they do that, you know, but honestly, it was probably a good move on their behalf because you got four years of you know being under Trump and just spewing this I hate Trump stuff, you know, for four years. It's not really working. It's not working for the view either.

Speaker 2:

Um, you know, but you know what you, what you know. Do you remember back, like even the 90s, like when we had, like when, when clint was running in bushes, they were all running? Of course, yes, they're all, they're all, they're crooked it's not the same party.

Speaker 3:

It's not.

Speaker 2:

It's not the same, no more, and back then you could discuss policies and you could vote for a certain person, not get hated on for it.

Speaker 3:

Right, exactly, yeah, it's gotten too far and I think a lot of people have seen it. I mean they say about 80% of the country. I mean that's a big number. Yeah, it's tired of it.

Speaker 2:

Well, I'm still curious, like Joe Rogan said on his podcast, I'm still curious about states that that did go blue and not having the voter id issue. Yeah, very interesting that'd be. You know he brought a good point up. I'm very interested to see, if they put id laws there, what would happen yeah, yeah be, another reagan, funny.

Speaker 3:

I was just scrolling through the news and I I see Ellen DeGeneres has left the country. She's moved to England.

Speaker 2:

I don't think it's because of Trump.

Speaker 3:

I think it is, and partially because of what Trump's going to bring out is what she's not looking forward to, and that's the ditty.

Speaker 2:

But you better run to a country that's non-extraditable.

Speaker 3:

She's in England, huh.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they can still get you out of England. Just let you know that We've actually dealt with that before. I had a banker's contact to me one time and we had a skip that ran from the New Orleans area and he went back home to Tel Aviv.

Speaker 3:

Israel, that was Tel Aviv. Yeah, we actually found him in Tel Aviv. Israel, that was Tel Aviv. Yeah, yeah, we actually found him in Tel Aviv and they're reciprocal to us.

Speaker 2:

Yes. But, the US Marshals had to handle that because there was no way I was going to Tel Aviv. No, we could have, but it's a long trip and the bondsman it was a big bond, it was like a $250,000. It was a big one, yeah but the bondsman didn't want to pay to bring him back.

Speaker 3:

I'm like dude, that's 250 000 yeah, yeah, yeah, not taking that hit no, it's bad, yeah, so all right.

Speaker 2:

Well, who is uh? What are we doing? Yeah, yeah, all right.

Speaker 3:

So today we're gonna go back in time, like I said, um 10 years ago. Um, this was before Rob came on with me and it was just me and James and we were actually in a different location and we got this kid out, who was a college kid here at UNCW, and he missed his court date and he took off and he was pretty smart. I'll give him that he was pretty good. What would we decide to name this guy?

Speaker 2:

So, before we go any further, sir, because you know it's story time, yeah, we get to play the clip right. All right, here we go. It's story time for Little Johnny.

Speaker 1:

Little Johnny.

Speaker 2:

A little Donald Trump dance. I can tell stories. All right, here we go. So Little Johnny out of. Was it New Hanover?

Speaker 3:

Well, he was a student here. He was from pennsylvania, right and um, I was able to contact him mainly through text. He wouldn't answer my calls. I remember this and this was back, like I said, 10 years ago. So social media he's in college. You know, those are big things, that this was right around a period of time when it seemed like a lot of kids were going more toward Instagram.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, we looked it up while I go and it was like oh the statistics.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so it's funny. Facebook has been around for 20 years. In February it would be 20 years.

Speaker 2:

But it didn't hit to a little bit.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, just a few years later, remember myspace 2006 and then it doubled it was 50 million, then 2007 it was 100 million, I believe yeah, because everybody was on myspace first.

Speaker 2:

Remember, remember you when you could like design your own front like page and have music playing. Oh God man.

Speaker 3:

Really showing your age.

Speaker 2:

On that one MySpace you can look at my face, man, you can see how much gray it is. What was?

Speaker 3:

that guy that you got as your first friend, oh yeah yeah, yeah, what was his name?

Speaker 2:

I don't remember his name Because he was turning around like this. He was turning around, yeah, he was turning around at his desk. He like this, he was turning around. Yeah, he's turning around his desk. He's like hey, he's like, I live at this desk. I'll be your friend though, so, but right after that facebook came on and then facebook started getting back and then, like, myspace just went away. Yeah, yeah. So so tell us where was little johnny out of? Was it new hanover county?

Speaker 3:

yeah, yeah it was here. He was a student here, um, from pennsylvania, going to school here, and he dipped on me and this is, you know, this was me and James. James was mainly doing the PI thing and I was basically on my own, you know, doing doing bonding, but he would help me, you know, when I needed to get, we would West what wait? Wait, we started, we would help each other. I would help him with PI stuff and he'd help me with with the bonds. And so I'm like James, I got to skip and I was talking to him and he's telling me this kid's telling me that I'm back in Pennsylvania, and so I call his mom. You know, I'm like, hey, little Johnny's, uh, he's not cooperating, you know.

Speaker 2:

I was mom cooperating at all.

Speaker 3:

She was kind of like keeping me in the dark, Cause it's still her son, you know she's going to protect him and I'm like, look, we're going to have to pay this. I think it was like a $5,000 bond. I'm like I'm not paying this. You signed for this. Your son needs to go to court. I think he stole some stuff. He was a larceny charge and something else Young dumb.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, he was. I get on social media and I'm trying to, you know, look him up and he's pretty smart. He covered his tracks on Facebook. So what I did was I looked at his inner. I found his inner circle of people. You know, like, everybody has people that are close to you and they're not all you know running particularly, so what do they got to hide? I, I found one and I can't remember what his name was. It was a guy. Yeah, it was a guy.

Speaker 2:

So he wasn't with a girl.

Speaker 3:

No, no, I found this friend, this guy, and I found him on Instagram and he had posted a video where he had his phone and he was down here. He goes just another day in paradise and he's panning around. You see this one little girl and you see this building in the background and then you see a street and then you see another building. It's like a CVS, and you see this stand. It was a stand that had like, um, like brochures and stuff on it and signs for like jet skis and fishing tours and stuff, and then it had a little cardboard cutout where he had taken a match. The person that had that stand is 104. And it said Duval and anybody who knows the famous Duval street. Where's that at? Where's it at? Where's?

Speaker 2:

it at.

Speaker 3:

Chad, it's in Key West Rob.

Speaker 2:

So Chad's over here like he's going woo, we're going to Florida baby.

Speaker 3:

So I'm like all right, all right, all right. I'm going to Google 104 and then Duval Street and do-do-do-do-do, boom Key West. And I get on Google Earth after that and I'm like put in that address. Now you know, all photos are taken on Google Earth at random years. There's nothing, it's not really that current.

Speaker 2:

So obviously, I went there. Sometimes they can be though.

Speaker 3:

Fairly, but that stand wasn't there.

Speaker 2:

This was a mobile stand.

Speaker 3:

This is one that was on wheels and people would wheel it out and they would roll up a thing and, you know, sell out of it, and then they would lock it down and pull it off the street. It's one of these little street vendors. Well, when I got on Google Earth and got to that address, I could see CVS in the background and I could see the other building. I've got my two landmarks. I bet you that made your nipples. I was like, oh yeah, it's when you, you put together a puzzle and it all comes together and you're like, yes, and it fits perfect. This is even better than that feeling. It's like that, but even better. So I'm like james, james, do you want to go to Key West? He was like get in the car, let's go If it's south that dude's in the car ready to go.

Speaker 2:

Dude, you know how many times we've been to Florida? God, We've been to Florida so much getting criminals I almost don't want to go no more to Florida. I don't even like visiting Florida because we we've been so much.

Speaker 3:

It's fun, it's fun and we've had to drive across florida a bunch too oh, yeah, yeah, absolutely yeah. And then in fact, let's see, well, I mean, it's a long haul to key west because we drove from miami and that's still. I had still four or five hours, it's something like that. Yeah, yeah, I can't remember how many hours, but it's at least five.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's, it's it's so we flew into my yeah, so all right. So we pack all of our stuff up and we head down and I'm I'm able to text this guy. Um, I was, I think, up until right before we left. I think he just cut me off and it's okay, I've got social media. So when he posted that video and I found that spot, I was able to find other people on that other kid's social media that were in that photo the two girls and one of the girls like posting where they were going to be. So they posted at a bar and I'm like I'm only four days behind you and I'm like I know, this is the area.

Speaker 2:

And he feels safe.

Speaker 3:

Oh he's safe, because I've already talked to mom and I text him and he thinks that I think that he's in Pennsylvania, Okay.

Speaker 2:

But here's the thing these girls and this other dude probably does not know that he has a warrant.

Speaker 3:

I don't think. Well, the guy might have, he might have, but they didn't seem to care. I mean again, they're like 22, 23 years old maybe and just living their best life down in Key West. So James and I book our flight, get down to Miami, rent a car and we'd make that long drive down to key west, scout it out.

Speaker 3:

We ended up staying in a hotel like but once you want a time frame or something yeah, yeah, so it was also my daughter's birthday, the the following, like in a couple of days, and like you know, I I was like I'll be home. I will be home for my daughter's first birthday.

Speaker 2:

It was her first birthday, dude, I already know yeah.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I was. I got a lot of heat for that. Um, but we got down there and, um, we, we had, we got a little hotel outside of, uh, key West and it was really cool. It was like just this little place and like there were canals behind it and they'd take you diving and stuff for 50 bucks a day. I mean it was awesome. Um, we, what we did is during the day we went down there and we just started checking out things. We went to the police department. Turns out the dude got arrested down there and was on bond with another bond oh, no shit, no shit In Key West.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, in Key.

Speaker 2:

West God. What was it? Do you remember what it was?

Speaker 3:

No, I don't, but it was like a $5,000 or $10,000 bond. I know that because we went and saw the bondsman and he didn't seem to care. I'm like, dude, if I take this guy and you're out your bond, you know. So I'm trying to work with you here, but he didn't really want to work with us and I'm like, all right, we'll do it ourselves and you can figure it out later, you know. So anyway, we, um, we got down there scoping out the spots. We went to the exact spot where the um, the short video was made and we found the stand and it was a girl there. She was selling jet ski rentals and fishing tours and stuff like that. You know, a little touristy thing. And we got there and we were like we, you know, pretended to be tourists. It's a busy street. So who wrote the bond? It was me. I think it was me.

Speaker 2:

But I guess did he recognize you. Do you think he would recognize you?

Speaker 3:

maybe me? Yeah, he might've recognized me, but he definitely didn't know.

Speaker 2:

James, I can see you coming from a mile away. Yeah, he didn't. He didn't.

Speaker 3:

He's got these big he he, he would reckon he wouldn't recognize James. So you know, james is, even though he's a great tall guy. But yeah, he, he never met him. So we, uh, we went to the stand, we talked to the girl that was running the little stand and she and we were like, oh yeah, we were, you know, down here a couple of weeks ago and you know, we ran into um little, uh, what's his name? Little Johnny. Little Johnny and um went and the other guy and, uh, she's like oh, oh, yeah, johnny, he works over at Pizza Place, over next to the famous Sloppy Joe's. There's a street in between Sloppy Joe's, the famous Sloppy Joe's, yeah, and then there's a little alley street there and then there's a row of like little, there's a pizza place and we're like, oh cool, you know, we'll have to go by and say hey to him, you know. So we got off the subject because we didn't want to we didn't want to alert her to go back and tell him that two guys were asking about him.

Speaker 3:

So we were just like in passing, like oh, they were really cool, you know. I was like want to say hey, you know. And she's like, oh yeah, he's not here anymore. They, they're, they're down there, like oh cool, well, that's, that's cool. Well, tell me about these, uh, jet skials. We're kind of interested, we're going fishing or something. We just want something to do. And she's like, oh yeah, so we totally got off that subject Right. And then we go back.

Speaker 2:

It's like, don't look right here, Just look over here. Yeah, right right.

Speaker 3:

Distraction and so we go back. I mean we spent all day and basically we went and ate. I think we ate at the restaurant, that's right. We went to the famous Sloppy Joe's and they have bands playing and what's funny, is you?

Speaker 2:

can go on their website and they have live cameras. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you can see Duval Street.

Speaker 3:

You can see the streets, yeah they have like three different cameras and I had plans for that later.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's right. See, so Chad's told me this story before, because I remember when I was actually in his office he was like, hey, when I get back, we got to do some other things for your license and stuff. I'm like, all right, cool, so this is, I can't believe this. Yeah, right, so anyway, so go back, so you're you're at the restaurant.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we go to the restaurant and we're you know we like out of a beer and, you know, had the famous confritters that they have down there. You know, some some Key West food and they have little windows on the side that face. We're literally watching and drinking a beer and like watching the pizza place, because at this point we know that he started working there, but we don't know if he's there right now we could be in the back.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we were like, well, let's go to the restaurant and just, you know, watch it, and we can literally look out the window and watch the place while we're eating. And so we had our meal. We never saw him or anything, so that day was pretty much over. I mean, it took us a little while to get to this point. We found out that James later went back down there and he went in and had some pizza at the place. Again, they're not going to recognize it and there's so many people moving around and stuff. This place stayed open until like 4 in the morning. It was like that place is wide open.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, key West, key West.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, duval Street is just a crazy place, and so it's a weird shit.

Speaker 2:

Yeah right, you see some weird things.

Speaker 3:

And he goes in and he's, you know, eating and chatting with a waitress or something, and like, he's like, oh yeah, I was in here the other night or something and a dude waited on me and uh, he's like, is he around? And she's like, uh, no, let me check the schedule. He comes in two nights from now and comes in at eight, something like that, and no wait, it was in the morning. In two days he opened, that's what. It was Like 10 in the morning, I think. They opened Anyway. So we know now when he's going to be there.

Speaker 3:

But now you're like shit, I got to get back. Yeah, we got two days before he's going to be there. Now you're gonna like. You're like shit, I gotta get back. Yeah, we got, we got two days before he's gonna be there and I'm like man, I, I can't, I can't. I gotta be back for my daughter's birthday, you know. And he's like james has got it.

Speaker 2:

He's like key west, I got you bro I'm telling you, I know chad's wife, chad's wife, she was about to probably jump to the phone, you better get your hands back over here.

Speaker 3:

Pretty much, pretty much so. Uh, I, I, uh, we rode up to uh, miami, it was funny. Um, we, we, uh, we had to go check her car in, like at a hertz rental place, right, and uh, I think we're gonna get, because we, I think we initially got it for so long we had to, like, re-up it for longer so james will have something to ride.

Speaker 3:

Yeah. So we were on our way back from down there. He drove me back up there. He didn't have anything to do and we stopped at the Hertz place and I remember this guy man he had a little off subject here but it was kind of funny.

Speaker 3:

This is funny guy that worked at the Hertz place and he had this wallet. He goes man, you know, I just got, I got money to burn around here and he pulls out his wallet and he opens it and it's like flames are shooting up out of it. I'm like that's pretty cool man and I was like can I see that? You know, he handed it to me and I was like you know, doing that, you know, and it's a, it's a, a butane, like trick or something, wallet and um, I just thought it's funny, I didn't think anything of it. And um, we get back in the car and james drops me off at the miami airport and I'm walking through the airport and they have like things that you walk through there that can tell if, like they have a bomb, so to speak.

Speaker 2:

So long story short, they take chad in the back into a cavity search.

Speaker 3:

No, no, I didn't get a cavity search, but I did get pulled because I walked through one of the things that smelt that butane or whatever the fuel was for that wallet, and it was in my hands and on my skin and they searched me and I told them, like you know, they looked at me like, yeah, sure, this is a you know, a guy with a wallet that you know. I was like, yeah, it was like a prank thing. You know, I didn't, I didn't realize it was going to. You know, stay on my skin. Anyway, that that was. That was kind of funny. But so I catch my flight, I go back and, uh, I leave James there, james there, which he's perfectly fine, and uh, so um, did he live with it?

Speaker 2:

We did he leave with a sombrero.

Speaker 3:

I did not see a sombrero. I think there was some tequila involved, but I did not see a sombrero. Um, but so the the day came. Two days later it came, and 10 in the morning, you know, and I'm like I'm at a birthday party, I'm like looking at my phone expecting James to you know say something to me. And it turns out. I get a text from him and it's a picture.

Speaker 1:

You know, that's how we do, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Like yesterday, the other morning, you sent me one of the guy we caught. You caught and, uh, it's a picture of the dude.

Speaker 3:

He looks like you know deer in the headlights, you know look like and he's holding on to the pitiful he's holding on to the oh shit bar, you know on the uh, on the rental rental car and his handcuffed to it and uh, and so I call and I go, um, he puts me on speaker, james puts me on speaker with him. I was like hey, johnny, what's up? Bro, that look like you're, uh, you're in Pennsylvania. They're judging by the palm trees in the background, right. And he's like man, I was gonna to. You know we get the same lie. You know I was going to take care of it you know blah, blah, blah, yeah, yeah right.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, you tell us you're in Pennsylvania and you're in Key West. Yeah well, the funny thing was about the camera thing, because it was right next to the pizza place and sloppy joe's. I wanted james to arrest the guy.

Speaker 3:

Go over there oh yeah, get in front of the cameras and like I would, I would like sign in and like I can see it and screenshot it. So it's like you know, on the street of duval and like here you go, that was pretty cool, but that was, that was a uh, that was a story from 10 years ago.

Speaker 2:

God, and we've gotten a ton of people since then, but little Johnny. So what happened to little Johnny?

Speaker 3:

I mean he's fine. I mean he did go back to jail.

Speaker 2:

What did Mama say? Did Mama say anything to you afterwards?

Speaker 3:

She was pissed, but I mean at the same time. I mean sorry, but warrant, we're not going to pay it and I know you probably don't want to. So we took care of it for you and you got a trip to Florida. I think he's a dot on Florida.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's a dot up there.

Speaker 3:

We've got a dot on Florida. He's a dot up there. Yeah, man, I had a few in Florida man.

Speaker 2:

I think we've told a lot of them in Florida.

Speaker 3:

People like going to Florida when they're fleeing, I guess, the weather.

Speaker 2:

Uh, I guess there's a lot of people there, there's a lot of people here. That's all I know. Right? So that was a story for little johnny. Yeah, so little johnny, down on deval street at a pizza joint, he got got bro, he got got, got, got. That's what I texted that that guy I got a couple mornings ago. Yeah, I got, yeah, that's another.

Speaker 3:

I mean that's a quick one, it's a quick one.

Speaker 2:

But I texted that picture to my girlfriend and I said got got, Because I told her I was on the way there. Now, if I'm going by myself somewhere, I let you know and I let Heather know. I don't like doing shit by myself. But this dude wasn't in trouble, he was just stupid.

Speaker 3:

But see, nobody knows what's going through another person's head when you're about to be put in handcuffs.

Speaker 2:

Now, I did have a gun on me.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean people will do some crazy stuff because they are not going back. You know they don't want to go back, yeah, and they don't want to face it, but you never know who that person's going to be. I mean it can be a female that bucks on you the most. I mean you just never know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I. I tell you the well, the worst, one of the hardest ones that I've ever done was a female out of Atlanta Remember it was the. It was the one that banker sent me many years ago and say, if you can get this, you got a contract bankers yeah, sent me many years ago and say, if you can get this, you got a contract bankers, yeah, hello hi.

Speaker 2:

So uh, and they were like, if you can find her, because we can't find her? I found her in like a couple hours. I was like, hey, I'm booking, I'm booking a one.

Speaker 3:

I mean I'm not saying we're good, but yeah, I mean we're batting pretty, pretty strong yeah so that's a, that's another, that's another episode, for sure.

Speaker 2:

Uh, and I got one right down the Mexico border Mercedes, texas, mercedes, corpus Christi. I think I can tell that one, because the sheriff gave me. He said I was okay.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, Texas is one of those states that you got to be careful in.

Speaker 2:

I almost got a drama. Man, I don't, I'll never do it again. Yeah, so, but yeah, that's a, that's a good, that's a good story, dude, that one in Texas, as a matter of fact, I think we might do that. Next one, yeah, all right, the Texas one, cause I, who did I go down there with? Oh, it was Petey and Kanda was with it at the.

Speaker 2:

So that guy's been on so long ago, so anyway, so that was a story on little johnny, little johnny, little johnny, down in the key west thief, the key west thief. So, guys, I haven't chad, I enjoyed, uh, listening to the story this time and uh, yeah me not having to tell one. That was pretty cool. I like that we'll have to do this more than that we got more.

Speaker 3:

We got more stories that we got more.

Speaker 2:

We got more stories to tell. I got more stories Right on Um. Well, other than that, we've got uh, we got Thanksgiving coming up, so this episode will, will is going to uh go right before Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3:

Yep, next Thursday is Thanksgiving. It'll come out Tuesday. Yeah, so yeah.

Speaker 2:

I can say this, and I'm sure Chad would agree with me I know what you're going to say, so I want everybody to have a very Happy Thanksgiving and, when you're at the family table, be thankful that Trump is your president.

Speaker 3:

Yes, bring it up in the table, I dare you. And if you don't have a place to go for Thanksgiving Because your family's disowned you or you've disowned your family or something you know, Come on to the house, get over that.

Speaker 2:

I think I'm having like a.

Speaker 3:

That's actually a thing. I mean I'm hearing people. There was a guy on TikTok who rented out some big like banquet hall and he was advertising on TikTok. If your family has disowned you because of who you chose or who they chose or whatever, come here and you can get a Thanksgiving dinner. I want that yeah.

Speaker 2:

I have a group of friends that I've met through my girlfriend. They don't vote the same way I do, but they're good people. They're really good people and I love them half to death. I do, but they're good people, they're really good people and I love them half to death. I love them like they're my own, and so next weekend we're having actually like a friend's giving at the house. Everybody's coming over. Of course, I can't hide the big-ass Trump flag I got hanging up in my music studio, permanently attached.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's permanently attached. Sorry, I can't take it down.

Speaker 2:

I got some Trump stuff in there, but it's my house. I'm sorry, but they respect me for what I did and you know I still respect them because that's their God-given right as an American citizen to vote for who you want to vote for.

Speaker 3:

That's right.

Speaker 2:

And just be sensible about it. Yeah, be sensible, you know, we still we still love you.

Speaker 3:

We just we like to pick on you, though. Come on, we we got. We had four years of it, man.

Speaker 2:

We got a little bit of payback, just like oh, so before we get off the air here, so right before we got on, uh, chad was telling me about this commercial. Oh yeah, yeah, oh my god. So I looked it up and I think was your wife that told us about yeah, jaguar, jaguar yeah the car company, the company so they. I look up this commercial and the wokest commercial you've ever seen, chad sitting right beside me and I pull it up and I hit play and we're just sitting here like this.

Speaker 3:

There's not a single car in the commercial.

Speaker 2:

I don't understand it.

Speaker 3:

It's weird.

Speaker 2:

The people in there look weird, it's weird. So, guys, if you're at home, whenever you stop, get whatever you got going on. Just stop for a second. Look on YouTube, go to Jaguar Commercial, because if I play it here we'll get copyrighted and next thing you know yeah, sure, they're talking about it right there.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, and like the second one, second second one is actually the commercial alone. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Copy nothing.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Like what are these? What the hell is this?

Speaker 3:

There's a whole DEI thing going on there.

Speaker 2:

It's more than DEI. It's like mental health.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we're not doing that anymore, folks.

Speaker 2:

No, we're not.

Speaker 3:

That's coming to an end soon. Very much so, Anyway. Well, let's wrap it. We're going to wrap it up.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm. All right, chad. Well, it's been a wonderful morning. So, ladies and gentlemen, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Eat all the turkey, eat all the ham and enjoy.

Speaker 3:

Thanksgiving and the folks with you, because everybody's in a hurry to get to Christmas and I can't stand it. I mean, do you have your tree up already? Nope, good for you, rob.

Speaker 2:

Good for you, rob day after day after.

Speaker 3:

Thanks, that's fine. That's fine, I get it, I get it. But you guys, man, like it started early november. Come on, I look, man, I can't let the bird have the day my birthday was like a week or so ago.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I can't have a christmas tree up around my breath. I can't do it. Yeah, I don, I don't like it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah Well, you know, each month to me gets its own thing. You know, it's just me, I prefer that.

Speaker 2:

Well, be thankful for what you got, because you never know, it might not be here tomorrow, correct? All right, chad. Happy Thanksgiving, sir. I will see you after Turkey Day. Hopefully you're not as bloated as I am.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to try to stick to my carnivore ways. I've cheated a little bit. I'm going to do some napping, that's for damn sure.
