Speaker 2:Yeah, went to Gavin's bar. I always stop by Alan Jackson's bar. It's a small little hole in the wall but I love it. Man, I got me a T-shirt. I was going to wear it today, but I didn't. I almost did. It's a black t-shirt. It's got I love 90s country, but it's upside down on the front of the t-shirt. But I was going to wear it but I didn't. Maybe I will in the next one, okay, whatever. So, yeah, guys, so far so good. So this episode will actually come out today.

They paused and that man came out and sang and it was amazing.
Speaker 2:You know what? I didn't get to watch it, but I went back and watched it. Chad filled me in, of course, and Chad goes. Did you see how he started off? I'm like no, he goes. As I was saying. As I was saying, I'm like God that was amazing.

Speaker 3:I saw today's, the first day I seen this t-shirt. I stopped in Georgia on my way down to Florida and I always stop at Black Rifle Coffee and that's where I get a lot of my clothes and I had to pick this one up because it was fitting man, you should have called me man, I would have got one man.
Speaker 2:Yeah, they had a lot of new stuff man. I thought, oh man, I can tell you what dude it's by rifle coffee. It's fun. Yeah, we love going there. Yeah, they even know us.
Speaker 3:We go to florida a lot you know, a lot of criminals like running to florida, so we stop there, whether or not we got one with us in handcuffs. We stop at the Black Rifle Coffee Company.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's fun. We actually told a story where we got two people in Florida. It's one of the episodes that we did and we stopped by with our fugitives in handcuffs.
Speaker 3:They have a little sitting area in there.

Speaker 3:It would be good, y'all sit there and we would take turns shopping and getting coffee. We'd get them some coffee, so they would just chill out.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but the fugitives, but them two fugitives actually told us they were like man, y'all, y'all pretty cool man Thanks. Thanks for being good to us.
Speaker 3:You know, you remember we took one to. There's a Hooters down the street. You remember that one guy. We took a picture of us and we let him get some wings. I don't think we didn't let him get a beer, but we let him get some wings and we had to eat. It's a long drive, yeah.
Speaker 2:It was Savannah. Yeah, savannah, savannah, georgia is actually a pretty nice place to go visit.
Speaker 3:Parts of it.
Speaker 2:yeah, yeah, well we always go to these shitholes of each city Sometimes, but Savannah's pretty Charleston. You just can't find anything in Charleston because it's covered up by a damn tree. Oh no, that's Hilton Head, Excuse me that's Hilton Head.

Um, he is the one running for a district attorney for the district of new hanover and pender counties and really good guy, knowledgeable guy. I believe it's 15 years that he's been a assistant d da, yeah, he's been a.
Speaker 2:He's an ada prosecutor in the district attorney's office.
Speaker 3:Okay, that's what he was, so man's got a lot of experience. The lady that's going up against him looked at her stuff a little bit. She lived here for a while, went to New York for five-ish years and then came back here and wants to be a district attorney, and I don't think her ideas align with what ours do.
Speaker 2:No, Well, jason's been here for so long, he knows he's got a great working relationship with the sheriff's departments, the police departments, and he doesn't give, because I did a murder case with him, against him last summer in Pender County and he's very professional, yeah, he's very respectful, yeah. And so when, if I have to, Very fair to both sides.
Speaker 3:Yeah, if I have to get on a stand and testify.
Speaker 2:He treats me with respect, right, and it's nice to have that, but he's also stern, and he's you need that.
Speaker 3:He's hard-headed. You can't be soft, super soft in these situations.

Uh, if you want to go talk to him, go talk. He'd be more than glad to talk to you. Yeah, and he he's going to tell you his views and his thoughts and what he's planning on doing and I think it's going to be historic to have a first the man's you know media, social media presence and the videos have gone viral over the man for a reason of what he said.
Speaker 3:Um, josh stein has done a good job of trying to smear him um with sound bites and the commercials that he's put together.
Speaker 2:And everybody knows. Just let's put this out there, man, it's not right. You know they can manipulate things Absolutely, and they're manipulating it because they know they can't directly win. I think, I believe, that it's just gotten so crooked now that they would do anything to stay in power to make that money, because they're making a killing.
Speaker 3:Yeah, it's. They are doing everything they can to win. I mean, if you want to talk about the presidency, trump has it. I mean, in the past week or two, the things that I've seen, people that have changed their views because Kamala is a train wreck and people know it. Now you may not like Trump. A lot of people don't. I don't agree with everything he says. But, right now we need him more than ever. Kamala is not the answer, Kamala, whatever how you pronounce her name.

Speaker 3:Like we have taken care of the world for years and years and years. Ask the people in western North Carolina how they feel about $750.
Speaker 2:I don't see any other countries coming to our aid.
Speaker 3:How Hawaii felt when it happened.
Speaker 2:The fires happened $700 for them and then it said, oh, we're going to bump it up to $50 because of inflation.
Speaker 3:Oh, if you qualify. By the way, it's not a guarantee.
Speaker 2:I'm not 100% sure about this, but I heard it was a contract that you signed for that To repay it. To repay it. If not, they can take your land and your property. I'm like what? What?

Speaker 3:I saw the sheriff in I can't remember what county that is out there in the western part of the state, but it was the sheriff for that county that was doing an interview that went off about the help that they've received or lack of help, and what. The president excuse me, the VP, whoever's the puppet this week came on the TV and did an interview and said you know $750. And there's no help in sight. I mean now people are personally stepping up.
Speaker 2:That's what I was about to say. We got to give big, big. We have to blow the people of North Carolina up.

Speaker 2:so all of our thoughts and prayers and it goes out to everybody anyway. And also we got to keep Florida in mind. They got the big ass hurricane coming their way. Man, that's, that's scary man To see the category five turning out there in the in a Gulf with 180 mile an hour winds.
Speaker 3:Yeah, we're now. Let's see. I think right now we're about 12 hours out from it hitting at this moment.
Speaker 2:Man, y'all hunker down in Florida. We love you, we're thinking about you and hang tight, man. Just hang tight. Hopefully. I think DeSantis has done a really good job in preparing for this, Because did you hear about the trash sites?
Speaker 3:Are you talking about all the debris from the previous hurricanes that's sitting out on people's curbs that hadn't been picked up yet? That's getting ready to get hit by a lot of wind and thrown around? Yeah, I've heard a little something about that.
Speaker 2:Yeah, Did you hear about one of the counties? I don't know which county it is, but they closed their trash sites because DeSantis had told them all that they had to open up and there was no, nobody. It was 24-7. So they had to get the debris up before the storm came up. But this one landfill closed their gates and within a couple of hours they had trucks backing up yanking the gates open. Desantis put it and said no, we're, it's going to happen.
Speaker 3:so, desantis man, I hear you, bro. I did see him on tv yesterday and there's some little exchange between him and harris going back and forth about harris saying I called you and you didn't answer. You hear about? That, yeah, man, I think she's trying to change, she's trying to take any opportunity to make it political this this is not the time to be political no you know, and he understands that, and he's kind of put the kibosh on that which he should. So you know, it did.
Speaker 2:That wouldn't happen. If it was a, not an election year, correct, it would not have. No, no, he's, he's actually, he's been in contact, you know he even admitted that.
Speaker 3:Um, he worked well, not only with trump, but with biden and previous ones over the years. So I mean kamala. So I mean Kamala is the one that's actually using this as an opportunity for her.
Speaker 2:Oh, speaking of what Kamala and her policies that she's trying to invoke, what the $25,000 house credit?
Speaker 3:Oh, yeah, that, yeah, that sounds like a bunch of BS.
Speaker 2:So I did some looking into that and I talked to Chad about this yesterday because I was like man, we need to bring this up on the podcast. So I did some looking up on this and I found a professor that did some looking into it and it made complete sense. So there's $25,000 that she wants to give people for our first time home buyers. What's going to happen is is who's going to pay for that? We are the taxpayers. We're just money. That's a lot of money. If you get a million people buying a house, they can just print more. Rob, what's?
Speaker 3:the problem? No, you can't. We're doing it for Ukraine, man, rob. What's the problem? No, you can't. We're doing it for Ukraine, man, just print more.
Speaker 2:It's just paper. No, what's it matter? So okay, so they're going to give us $25,000 for first-time homebuyers, right? So they're going to give us the money we're going to pay for it. So that means inflation will keep rising.
Speaker 3:That means, rob, you got to do your part. Man, you've got to pay more for gas food. You know all the basics. I'm tired of being.

Speaker 3:I'm tired of stretching a dollar out of my ass.

Speaker 2:And Democrats keep talking about corporate greed. So when you do this, you give $25,000, it's going to help the corporate greed because they're eventually not going to afford the housing. And then it's going to be a bunch of foreclosures and you're going to have another 2008, like what you did with Obama. And then BlackRock's going to come in, buy up all the houses and guess what? They're going to go up on the rent and it's inflation over and over and over again.
Speaker 3:Blackrock is at the core of a lot of situations that we don't even know about. I mean, I keep hearing all these different rabbit holes that people are going down about what's happening in western North Carolina, about the lithium mines mining that's going on in the land up there and the people that are behind all the parts of that, and ultimately it goes back to Kamala's husband and then Kamala is the one to sign off on this. So there's that theory. I don't know how much truth there is to that, but I've seen a lot of talk about that. You know like a good conspiracy. But you know what the conspiracy theorists are. I think like 48 and 1. So a lot of them are turning out to be true.
Speaker 2:I tell you. I just I really hope that you know if you're listening and you're on the fence about who you're voting for, stop and take a look. Look the abortion thing me and Chad both agree.

Speaker 2:Exactly, but it's a hard subject to talk about and I don't want to tell a woman what she can and can't do with her body. I just look. That's not the issue at hand, because Trump's not going to do anything with that Right now. The issue at hand is inflation, economy with foreign wars, and what else was it? Immigration, oh, biggie Immigration. Those are the big ones, and I think that we need to stop, take a pause and vote Trump in so we can breathe a little bit, because if you put Kamala in, we're we're screwed man.

After that, uh, I'm ready for november 8th so I can get out here and go to st croix for eight days and get a wave and take a break from politics because we'll know who the president is by the time we leave. He never comes to the East Coast, he's always West and other countries. I was looking at his tickets Pretty pricey. God, it's been a long time since I've seen a concert man. I didn't realize how much money they want for these things.
Speaker 2:Man, they're expensive man, god, the Field and Stream Music Festival that me and Heather were supposed to go to was canceled because of the hurricane stuff, and that's Eric Church and Morgan Wallen's Field and Stream Magazine. They bought Field and Stream Magazine so they come up with their first music festival and it was being put on by the same people that did, uh, the ones down in myrtle beach, the country music festival down there, all right, but uh, they canceled it. Well, they postponed it till next year. So I was excited to see that but understood that you know the hurricane come through, that was devastating, so they postponed it.

Where he's in swing states, he's offering $47 to each person that, I think how is it worded In swing states that registers to vote and goes a conservative way, offers them $47.
Speaker 3:Now that doesn't sound. That sounds like a weird amount, but think about the amount of people that can be. We're talking a million people. That's $47 million that he'd have to cough up to ask for people to vote. I mean, that is really putting your money where your mouth is. Speaker 3:There's a lot of democrats that are tired of it like all right, it's time to like yeah, this this whole crap going on, everybody's woke, everybody's, you know, offending everybody put your your feelings aside for trump, like, just listen to the man. I mean, he did a good job the first time and it's just not going well now. We need to change what's going on. You know you're not going to do worse. I know there's some Democrats out there that are probably freaking out at me saying that, but the man did good the first time. Give him another chance and I don't like what the current administration or whoever's running the show is doing. It's not good for us. Cut the bleeding off.
